Dr Mark Roberts
Research
My role within this project is to provide biochemical data and insight to help first construct the models.
Once the models are created I help test the predictions from these models in order to obtain the system connectivity.
I am also performing biochemical assays to determine and verify the connectivity determined through the modelling approaches.
Teaching
I am the biochemistry tutor for Lincoln College and teach 1st year molecular cell biology, 2nd and 3rd yr microbial metabolism and sensing and on the 4th year systems biology option. I also teach on bacterial signalling in the I&I option of the FHS Medical Sciences course.
